To celebrate the unveiling of one of our latest showhomes, our director, Steve Hird and client account manager, Sam Jones were invited to join a VIP event alongside Cllr. Lora Lawman, Chair, North Northamptonshire Council.
Our client, Bovis Homes, was launching its latest showhome at Priors Hall Park and Steve and Sam were asked to conduct a tour for the Councillor and her consort, Bovis Homes’ board of directors, and the Priors Hall Park neighbourhood team.
“The five-bedroom Yew is the largest house type on this phase of Priors Hall Park and has a characterful three-storey layout,” explains Sam. “The interiors were designed to have a contemporary, luxe feel and feature a rich navy and rust colour palette with gold and black accents for added impact.
“Cllr. Lawman was particularly impressed with how there was space in the home for the family to enjoy their individual hobbies as well as come together to relax or entertain. This includes the ground floor study, that we styled with artwork and accessories depicting classic games, and the open plan kitchen/diner with its dedicated spaces for different activities including a cosy reading corner.
“But everyone’s favourite rooms were the two dormer bedrooms on the top floor of the house. Here we styled this entire floor as a teenage haven. One bedroom has a bouldering/rock climbing theme inspired by the local climbing centre, while the other is artisan and features a statement wall behind the bed with a Matisse-inspired wallpaper, a rattan peacock feather headboard and matching wall mirror, and craft desk for unlocking inner creativity,” adds Sam.
Steve concludes: “It’s always pleasing to walk clients and visitors through a showhome, and experience that “wow” moment as they take it all in. The feedback from everyone involved in the VIP launch event was exceptionally positive so we hope house hunters looking for their new home in Corby will have similar reactions.”
