March has been a busy month for our client account team with spectacular showhome launches, new client wins, charity sponsorship and welcoming new colleagues! Read on for our Out of the (Show) House activities…
At Harleston Grange in Northamptonshire, Steve Hird was pleased to handover our first showhome for new client, Charles Church Midlands. Inspired by the surrounding countryside, its design has a soft, earthy palette and is a celebration of nature. We love the delicate cherry blossom mural that transforms one of the bedrooms into a secret spring garden!
Up in the coastal town of Hornsea, East Yorkshire, Sam Jones attended the launch of Gleeson Homes’ Mariners View development. We used Mocha Mousse, the Pantone Colour of the Year, as the base for this showhome’s design and it’s certainly impactful. We’re keeping our fingers crossed it makes an impression on the judges for this year’s First Time Buyer Awards too as we’ve entered it for Best Showhome!
Estelle Palmer’s successful partnership with Spitfire Homes continues, as she handed over a further two showhomes at the housebuilder’s Maybank development in Halesowen, West Midlands. The epitome of elegance, the Farleigh and Kedleston exude luxury with the latter featuring beautiful bespoke furniture in the study and living room.
For Platform Housing, Sam Jones has been writing a monthly blog on The Platform Edit, part of the housebuilder’s website dedicated to design hints and tips for new homeowners. Sam’s latest editorials advise on revitalising home styling for spring and his ‘behind the scenes’ insight into the design for the Haddon Abbot showhome, which launched this month.
The whole team was pleased to sponsor David Wilson Homes South Midlands as they took on the Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI) Great Tommy Sleep Out. This encourages people to sleep one night outside in March to fundraise to give homeless veterans a safe place to call home.
Finally, there’s been some exciting changes to the Edward Thomas Interiors team! Lauren Worrell has been promoted to Head of Operations; Rose Pitt becomes an Operational Buyer; Jack Harrison is our new Management Account and Jack will mentor our newest recruit, Accounts Assistant, Natasha Christoforou. Good luck to you all in your new roles.
