May has seen our client account team complete a busy month of showhome and sales office installs, including our biggest one yet this year! But we’ve also helped clients prepare for summer parties, undertaken site visits and discovered which of our designs are award finalists. Read on for our latest Out of the (Show) House activities…

At The Quadrant development in Boston, Lincolnshire, Megan Doherty handed over two showhomes and a sleek sales office to Chestnut Homes. Appealing to first-time buyers and growing families, we drew inspiration from the impressionist movement for these showhomes, which feature abstract patterns and bold geometric prints alongside natural woods and textures.

Andy Richardson travelled to Burley in Wharfdale, West Yorkshire to hand over our second showhome at Imperial Court for David Wilson Homes. The five-bedroom Moreton offers incredible family living over three storeys and is one of the largest showhomes we have installed this year!

Sam Jones and Megan Doherty joined the housebuilding community for this year’s Showhome Awards, held virtually. Our design for the Bridget showhome at St Modwen Homes’ West Works development in Longbridge was shortlisted to the final three for Showhome of the Year but was pipped to the post by our longstanding client, Bellway Homes. Congratulations guys!

In Oxfordshire, Sam Jones led the styling team to help bring Platform Housing’s ‘Hosting for Summer’ event to life. Aimed at inspiring househunters as to how they can style homes for summer, Sam and the team created a beautiful Mediterranean décor suitable for indoor and outdoor dining.

Meanwhile in London, Rebecca Jones, Steve Hird, Estelle Palmer and Megan Doherty attended the launch of the Sanderson x Highgrove collection at Chelsea Barracks Chapel. This amazing collection is inspired by the flora and fauna cultivated at Highgrove by His Majesty King Charles III. The team also managed to take in the Chelsea Barracks Spring Fair and Chelsea Flower Show for additional inspiration!

Still in the Capital, Steve Hird and Megan Doherty met with Peabody New Homes to recce The Auria development in Notting Hill, where we’re delivering a luxurious two bed duplex with an amazing garden and terrace space – keep an eye on our socials for when this installs!

Steve and Meg then joined our PR Consultant, Natalie Keene to attend the First Time Buyer Reader’s Awards Shortlist Party. We were delighted to discover our trend-led design for Gleeson Homes’ Keady showhome at Mariner’s View in Hornsea is a finalist for Best Showhome. Please vote for us over at https://www.ftbawards.com/.

Finally, to end the month, we were happy to support longstanding client, Barratt David Wilson by sharing our top tips for home styling to celebrate World Interiors Day!
