Contemporary-cool home with Greenery
This on-trend home features Pantone’s colour of the year 2017 Greenery to create a contemporary look. Foliage and palm wallpaper are combined with luxurious touches and a monochrome colour palette.
Located in the rural town of Faringdon and close to Oxford, this home is perfect for a young family. Drawing upon the colour of the year ‘greenery’ and also the trend of bringing botanicals in to interior design, the use of foliage in this home reflects the rural location.
The contemporary furniture and bold wallpapers create a memorable look whilst luxurious fabrics such as velvet keep the space warm and inviting.
There are plenty of playful elements within this home. From parrot bedside lamps in the master bedroom, the dalmatian print wallpaper in the child’s room to the bold banana leaf wallpaper in the WC – our designers have ensured there is heaps of interest.
The living room is a functional family space with pale grey wooden flooring which is modern and practical. Green upholstery and accessories bring in the greenery element as do indoor plants.
“We are delighted with the show home. It was a complex brief which the team both met and exceeded. We have had great feedback from visitors and the Crest team alike; there are lots of interesting features perfectly targeting the required demographic.
“We had very tight deadlines to meet and had to work very closely with the Edward Thomas Interiors Team who were hard working and flexible in helping us achieve our goals. Any issues were always dealt with the utmost professionalism.
