About the Role

Our interior designers are imaginative, enthusiastic and skilled individuals who can transform an idea to reality. The role requires a clear understanding of an initial concept and the artistic vision to deliver this to an exceptional standard. You will be expected to create bespoke designs for show homes, sales centres and retirement living complexes, and present these on high-quality physical and digital mood boards.

You will be responsible for specifying furniture, lighting and wall treatments to achieve an agreed style and appearance, all while adhering to budget, deadlines and client and senior management expectations. You will be required to manage your own time and communicate clearly across departments, including producing detailed design drawings to assist the installation teams.

About you

  • Highly creative and motivated individual with an outstanding eye for detail
  • Awareness of popular design trends, and upcoming styles to watch
  • Strong organisational skills including following strict timeframes, budgets and plans
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining positive working relationships
  • InDesign and Photoshop experience (essential)
  • CAD experience (preferred)
  • Proven design portfolio including show home design experience (preferred)
  • Professional and courteous manner at all times
  • Full UK driving license

We are an independent, privately owned interior design business based in the West Midlands but working nationwide. We operate exclusively within new homes; designing and installing bespoke showhomes, sales centres and retirement living complexes. Recognised for our imaginative, characterful and eye-catching schemes, we are proud to be the preferred and trusted design partner for many of the UK’s best-known housebuilders.

Our friendly team comprises over 30 specialists working from our newly renovated studio in the Kings Norton suburb of Birmingham. Hours:

Permanent full-time (37.5 hours per week), Monday – Friday

Salary:

Competitive (depending on experience) plus discretionary bonus scheme, pension plan
