About the Role

Our styling team comprises creative and enthusiastic visionaries who can bring a design to life. The role requires a clear understanding of a design brief and the imagination to deliver this to an exceptional standard. You will be responsible for sourcing accessories, soft furnishings and finishing touches that turn a house into a home and will be expected to achieve this to a strict budget and deadlines while also meeting or exceeding client and senior management expectations.

Responsible for managing your own time, stock and deadlines, you will also be required to communicate clearly across all departments and with relevant site personnel, including acting as the face of the business on site. You will oversee the presentation of showhome installations, responding rapidly and adapting to any problems or unforeseen issues that may arise.

  • Strong organisational skills including following strict schedules and deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining positive working relationships

  • Capacity to take ownership and be self-critical when necessary to learn from previous installations
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Full UK driving license (and willing to drive a van when required)
  • Enthusiasm to travel around the UK and work away overnight when required

We are an independent, privately owned interior design business based in the West Midlands but working nationwide. We operate exclusively within new homes; designing and installing bespoke showhomes, sales centres and retirement living complexes. Hours:

Permanent full-time (37.5 hours per week), Monday – Friday

Salary:

Competitive (depending on experience) plus discretionary bonus scheme, pension plan
